Optician Ed Broome opened his first location on the 1st floor of the Fisk Building in 1929, adding another location in 1968 in Wolflin Village as one of the first tenants of this Amarillo staple. Both locations remained open until 1978 when the current location on Olsen was built and all operations were consolidated. A second location was opened in 1988 at 34th and Bell Street, remaining open until 1994.
Through all these transitions, we’ve maintained that “Life Is Worth Seeing,” which means eye care is our No. 1 priority.
